Brian Cooley found it for you at CES 2017 in Las Vegas and the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Or as long as I use Catalyst 5.6 drivers or earlier, all is fine. Any drivers that work fine ? I don't have any trouble with the analog input. over here

I've had the no login screen problem with every driver since 3.7. Remember I can't see any display until the welcome screen so I can't see what stage boot is at..my display just says 'no signal'. This has been much-discussed (though not recently - seems people gave up) on Dell's own forums, so I'll probably post this there as well. They know about the Flat Panel issues as Catmaker reproduced some a long time ago and then went very quiet. If I put the original nVidia card (a Quadro FX500) that came with the machine back in the DVI connection works properly. dunno if it's connected to these signal loss issues but hope that helps.... don't fix the problem 5.6 and before worked fine.

As I said earlier, i can't use the DVI by itself unless I first plug in the VGA, and then unplug it after setting it to DVI mode. No, create an account now.
Thank you for helping us maintain CNET's great community. My monitor (HP w2007) is new (along with the tower) and does not seem to be the issue as it functions properly on another system. So I thought, I'll restore a system backup that I did with Acronis Image - the entire C drive. Of course, once I got rid of the drivers, everything worked fine on DVI.
You had the exact same issuess as me. This is not a "ha mine works yours don't" reply.
