In this instance my external hard drive particulars are as follows: Seagate Expansion Desk SCSI Disk Device I have formatted the drive on my Windows 7 PC. How are we going to save files..i bought the thing to be the backup.. I have 4 USB slots and I have tried them all with the same results. External Hard Drive Not Detected

I have had good luck with free MiniAide Fat32 Formatter, which analyzed my 3TB Hard Drive and allowed me to Partition and Re-Format in Windows 7. I hope he answers both our questions on this issue. The light on the HDD is flashing blue, but I am not able to see it.

My external harddrive works on other computers, but not after the windows ten update. After reboot, there was a USB icon showing up on the right cornor of the desktop. but when I tried ACHI it does not detect my hdd.
