Thank you for helping us maintain CNET's great community. In Windows 7, you may have a different version of Internet Explorer installed. Half the time a blank screen comes up. You can;t go on those windows since IE is not loading.
I had a nice fun run-in with that nasty anti-virus pro 2009. choose COSTOM. The tcp/ip fix was the one I needed! BTW, no problems with IE 8 (and I hate having to go to it because of this).
I to say in my original post that I also tried installing IE 9, which I believe is an upgrade from what was there, but I'm not sure. for a long time or an error message problem loading the page. That fixed the speed issue i had now pages are loading fast again. Open Firefox and select 'Help' on the top line. Plus there is always Firefox until MS solves IE8 performance issues. If anyone knows anything, I would like to have the sp installed, as long as it does not require me to reboot 6x a day.
