Simply having hardware run hot is not good.. i use a nice coppercore heatsink with a quality paste, and a outrigger-type fan. It is always best to install some Monitoring software such as Mother Board Monitor 5. So if you could give me some sort of guidance here, I would greatly appreciate.

Take the fan assembly off the heatsink (only usualy held on by 4 obvious screws) and give the heatsink a good blow thru to clear it all off, and check the Rather than suggesting that he/she spend more money on stuff, why don't you just answer his/her questions?
