Temps dropped over -20C and returned to a normal 30-35C after the re-install. Very high temperatures for such a small case (13"). The GPU, I thought the temps were ok and the paste job was ok but, after doing my own they've dropped from 68c to 60c and this is a slightly inferior Exactly, I think he may have been unlucky and gotten a unit with improper heatpipe contact to the CPU + GPU. weblink
The Hyper 212+ is a great "bang for buck" aftermarket cooler. The idle temperature is still about 50 degrees. dont sweat those temps but is great you got them down. If you want to try overclocking, definitely get an aftermarket cooler, the stock coolers aren't good enough for overclocking. It can perfectly reach 115 to 120 degrees and the processor will still be OK. My GPU/CPU temps on my sammy are high 80's for GPU and 90's for CPU.
Liquid coolers now are as cheap as air, and far more efficient and quiet. I've looked at a large number of CPU temps and looked up the max temps for any number of CPUs where data here was posted via Speccy...I think your assertion goes That said, if your temperature monitors are accurate you are fine with a 51 to 53 degree load temperature. Why Is My Cpu Temp So High Im worried as after checking, I found out that usual CPU temps would be around 40-41c with minimal usage.

It's ever so slightly warm, but barely more so than the room temperature.

High Cpu Temperature Windows 10 BTW, you mentioned your GPU 'broke'.
GPU hit 62 C max with 60% fan speed and the CPU hit 74 C max, which is great for stock cooling and a lack of good case cooling for right http://vgvinc.com/cpu-temp/help-high-cpu-temperature.php Check your fan for dust bunnies. Dunno if that's very healthy... I have one and my CPU runs at about 41C when under heavy stress. it runs about the same temps as what you're experiencing and exhibits the same behavior (fans kick on high), except the temps do drop with more cooling. While idle on Windows 8.1 the CPU is around 58-60 C. http://vgvinc.com/cpu-temp/is-this-temperature-enough-for-cpu.php Idle it runs at about 44c.
Ask ! Cpu Idle Temp 60 Is this going to effect my cpu in the longhaul? I have no idea, but using a sensor at an unknown distance just monitoring its environment tells you nothing!

I'm now using throttle stop to force a lower cpu state to avoid such high temperatures. All rights reserved. Few things to clean up your pc and game while you wait for real help : 1. http://vgvinc.com/cpu-temp/is-my-cpu-temperature-ok.php Also, any recommendations for cheap CPU coolers?
Because of the setup... Every computer I have ever built over 15 years is an AMD and they all run hotter than an Intel chip. Whats New! At this point the CPU, upon reaching TJmax, the CPU initiates a hard throttle to force the frequency down and dissipate heat.
Should I try removing the CPU entirely or just replace the fan and thermal paste? I haven't installed much on this computer. well, I leave the laptop on the cooler, but with the fan to the cooler off. To learn more and to read the lawsuit, click here.
I'm just worried that I will mess up the thermal paste if I do, and I don't have any of my own to apply. If you do, you might want to replace with a better one and in addition, you also want to put some good thermal paste on the CPU(e.g Arctic Silver) and make Reply to litegrace Related Resources solved Idle CPU temp too high??? I'm starting to think that maybe my setup (mainly the lack of an intake) might be causing a lot of my heat issues.
